Founded by principal valuer and Managing Director Mark Ellis, Independent Property Valuations (IPV) Pty Ltd was established in 2002 in Dural, NSW and subsequently merged with Furney Projects under the Independent Property Valuations name in 2012.
Our team consists of a Principal Valuer, three senior Valuers and our Consultant Valuer with over 100 years combined experience plus three Office Support Staff and an accounts/admin member.

Mark is experienced in a variety of valuation matters ranging from litigation, compulsory acquisition, easement compensation assessments, commercial, industrial, rural and residential properties.
Paul has over 15 years experience in the property industry with extensive experience in a broad range of valuation matters including commercial, industrial, rural, residential, retail valuation assignments, compulsory acquisition matters, dispute resolution, land tax objections, easement compensation assessments, development feasibility, litigation and family law assignments.
Tony has broad skills covering the residential, commercial and industrial property spectrum and has a preference for specialisation in family law matters. Tony provides prompt efficient service in these matters and attends mediation and arbitration, as well as attending court as an expert witness.
Senior Commercial/Residential Valuer
Michael has over 40 years experience in the real estate industry with broad experience in a wide range of valuations including commercial, industrial, residential, residential development and retail valuation assignments, dispute resolution, due diligence, land tax objections, development feasibility and family law assignments.
Robert has over 50 years experience in the property industry and has vast experience in the valuation of commercial premises, property developments, subdivisions and other residential schemes as well as compulsory acquisition and property litigation matters.
Paula’s role is primarily to ensure the efficient running of the office, ensuring deadlines are met, systems are adhered to and the quality of our reports. Paula also liaises with our accounts department and valuation teams ensuring systems are being adhered to.
Joanne is an integral part of our administration team and, along with Paula, has a pivotal role in time management, making sure reports are delivered on time, word processing in preparation of valuation reports, using our accounting package and ensuring client satisfaction.
Catherine has been with the company for more than 10 years in an accounts payable/receivable role. She has built up relationships with many of our valuation clients and suppliers and has a pivotal role in administering our software and accounting procedures.
Janet has been part of our administration team for more than 13 years and has been responsible for setting up our record keeping system including a mail merge system to Microsoft Word. Janet is experienced in our website design and programming and is an integral part of our “back office”.
